At MK Psychology, we provide professional counselling services for children aged between 3-18 years of age – in a safe, comfortable and nurturing environment. We work tirelessly to achieve positive results through well-established therapy methods and encourage parents to be involved every step of the way.
Some common issues that children experience includes: developmental issues, behavioural problems associated with the separation and divorce of parents, bullying, social anxiety, self-esteem and self- confidence issues and anger issues. As a parent, it can often be difficult to see your child in distress. If you’re not managing with this very well, we highly encourage you to see a counsellor for extra guidance and support. Should you be experiencing a crisis and need immediate access to support, we also have a list of professionals we can refer you to. We also offer Medicare rebates with a Mental Health Care Plan from a GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician.
